Remember Whensday I

This is an abandoned grain elevator near our home. Whenever I see these structures it makes me sad - they represent a bygone era - one that I lived thru and can remember when it was fully functional. I must be getting old. I chose sepia to portray the bleekness of the building. I also liked the way the jet trails in the sky crossed behind the building.
Monochrome Maniac

  1. A very delicate sepia and very effective for the subject.
Welcome to the Mono Weekly, I hope you find the theme enjoyable.

  2. I like old grain elevators, too--or new ones.
