The Road Is Paved with Gold MyWorld Tuesday

Greg took this picture less than a week ago. Today, the leaves are gone - only a memory is left. How quickly our world can change. It is a reminder to stop and enjoy each day while you can - because soon it will be only a memory.

  2. What a beautiful view. Our Autumn colors are beginning to fade as well, but soon the ground will be covered in snow (hopefully) and it will be pretty again.

  5. Hi Gwendolyn - just found your link on My World - it didn't show up on your comment on my blog (for which thank you!) This is such a beautiful image of autumn. I love all those browns and golds, and your composition is great. I can't believe it's all gone in just one week!

  6. Beautiful. This is the kind of place that gets me in trouble for I keep wanting to see what is around the next bend or beyond the next rise. I lures me on until I am late back to my starting place.

  7. Lovely photo. I know the feeling. the leaves are all falling and the wind is helping to bring them down even faster (along with rain). Though today has been sunny this was not the case a couple of days ago. What a difference a couple of days can make.

  12. Is it just me, or did the leaves turn and drop more quickly this year than they usually do? It seems the maples were bright red one day, and sporting bare branches the next.

    I love your golden pathway!
