Window View ----- Outdoor Wednesday

The downtown historic city of Deland Florida has about a dozen large building size murals depicting their history. This three story building showed an unusual series of paintings by covering some of the windows and then painting a story as if you were looking thru the window. This set of windows caught my eye, because of the texture of the building, and the stairs, intruding on the scene. Click to enlarge and investigate the lower set of windows. I can hear the glass breaking can't you?

  1. Cool capture. Neat paintings for the windows.

  2. Gwen, the next time you're in Deland, you ought to swing over to St. Augustine for the day. I'd love to meet you.

I'll have to look for these windows. They are fun!

    Happy Outdoor Wednesday...

    Sheila :-)

  3. What a great image. Thanks for sharing it with us on this gorgeous Outdoor Wednesday.

  4. Yes, I heard the ball go through the window. OOPS! I think someone is in BIG trouble. :)

  5. Nice mural capturing another wall and the sunlight on it as well as everyday life.
    Thanks for sharing this.
