First Signs of Spring MyWorld

Melting snow, return of the early migratory birds (robbins and sandhill cranes), giant potholes in the roads from the frost coming out of the ground, daffadils poking their tiny little heads out of the ground, newborn lambs, and collecting sap from the sugar maple trees. And they all appeared this last week. Life is wonderful!

  1. Spring is definitely in the air. I'm still waiting for my crocuses to open up.

  2. Spring slipped in on us early, but then it must have realized how far off schedule it was as flowers and trees were budding and blooming six weeks ahead of time -- whatever the temps dropped by 15 degrees and the rain returned. Needless to say, the plants and trees are looking a bit confused???? Hope yours arrives soon -- and stays!! Have a great week!

  7. What a generous old maple tree. I wonder how much bloodletting it has seen over the years.
