Tulips in the Rough - MyWorld

I found these lonely tulips growing next to an old run down building. I liked the contrast in the vertical lines of the door and grass with the horizontal lines of the bricks as well as the textures.

  3. I like this. I often wonder how red tulips end up in ditches beside the road, under trees in abandoned fields or beside buildings that appear to be barns.

  4. The weathered paint and brick create such fabulous texture as a backdrop for the tulips. This is so good!

  5. I love that. It makes me think of the woman who once lived there...her garden goes on even in her absence.
