Harvest Time II

4 hp mowing machine, cutting the wheat.  The kids go around the field and pile up the wheat, and then it is tied into bundles, dried in the field, then put on a wagon and taken to the trashing machine.  We were lucky enough to see this process first hand.

Actually this is much more complicated and dangerous than it looks.   Each of these steam engines has a boiler with 300-400 gallons of water sloshing back and forth.  It is a most unstable position. 

Rainbow of Colors

The flowers are so beautiful this year.  This flower bed caught our eye and I couldn't resist another flower picture on the blog. 

Harvest Time

Wheat harvest is early this year.  However, I doubt that the farmer had planned on sharing with this trio.  Click on the picture to enlarge .....you'll see spots on the twins.
