In the middle of nowhere an abandoned ME Church built in 1872. Reaching for the sky. Oh how my heart aches for these old buildings. I am sure that the walls have many memories to share. It was so elegant in its day.

What a surprise! Just three days ago there was nothing in bloom in this flower bed. They are really early this year. I hope they don't freeze their little tops off.....surely this unusually hot weather so early in the year won't stay with us.

We arrived in Florida in time to see these flowers in full bloom in the backyard. Three days later there was a hard frost and they disappeared. Thankfully I took the picture when I did. I do love spring and am so looking forward to its arrival in Michigan.
